2019 was the year when we received three new rescued Jaguars. The first one was Mijungla, a female Panthera onca that arrived being only a few months old. Today she is 15 months old, almost completely grown and was recently allowed into her brand-new enclosure for the first time.
As you will appreciate in the videos, as soon as she was let inside she completely owned the place and made it hers. This big enclosure is in the Feline area and will be the definite home for Mijungla the Jaguar. This was all possible thanks to her adoptive parents and to donors that participated in the enclosure project campaign, we would like to dearly thank them.
The other two jaguars that arrived months after Mijungla, Misha and Hernán, are waiting for their enclosures to be finished, currently they are being built. As of today, La Senda Verde is home to four different rescued jaguars.
